TANZANIA:Tanzania's inflation drop to 4.4 pct in November

Tanzania’s year-on-year inflation dropped slightly to 4.4 percent in November, the statistics office said on Friday, down from 5.1 percent the month before.

Ephraim Kwesigabo, director at state-run National Bureau of Statistics, attributed the lower inflation to a slower rise in the prices of food items including meat, fish, vegetables, Irish potatoes and cassava.
