RWANDA: Rwanda to help 40,000 immigrants from West Africa

Rwanda has open a help of 30,000 African immigrants that are current stuck in Libya and other western countries that a faces alot of abuses  such those exposed into slave market in the Northern Africa Country . Foreign Affairs minister Louise Mushikiwabo said Rwanda is currently in talks with the African Union Commission to determine the entire extent of intervention to the crisis.This comes after many abuses done by African from western which are openly sold.Despite of not having enough much resources Foreign Affairs minister said,they will offer logistic support for those who are willing to go back to their home countries  of their origin and also give sanctuary  to those who are not willing to go back to their home countries.Foreign Minister added by saying that “What I expect and know is that Rwandans will welcome these people. As Rwandans we are sensitive to people who are helpless and have no way of protecting themselves. It is something that is deep in ourselves, we take pride in human beings,”
“Any country usually has contingency plans, but we also know that there is money available out there that we can mobilise for something like this. We also know some Rwandans that are happy to help. It’s a question of planning,” she said.
 “It takes means to take care of people, to provide them food and shelter and give them a normal life. That is the part that we have to work on, but judging by the reception so far, most people in the country are happy to be of help. We are not ready to take in all the 400,000 immigrants but we are willing to play our part.”
Currently speaking Rwanda government and A.U has agreed on 30,000 immigrants but it could be revised on how the talks goes on.
 So far, discussions between Rwanda and the AU Commission have agreed on 30,000 immigrants, which could be revised depending on how the talks proceed.

 Most of immigrants are from Niger,Senegal,Cameroon,and Nigeria apart from other, who found themselves trapped in Libya as they want to cross Europe via Mediterranean Sea.Most of them are sold at $400 .

 The minister has added that those immigrant who will be willing  to stay in Rwanda, they wont put in refugees camps instead they help them to have their normal life like other citizens in Rwanda and help them to find jobs and other business, She added by saying up to now two countries has decided to help that crisis, that is Rwanda and Israel, whereby  the number of immigrants from Israel that could be resettled in the country is around 10,000.Immigrants in Israel that are being considered are from Sudan and Eritrea.  This would not be the first time that Rwanda is taking in immigrants or asylum seekers, including from Asian countries, according to the minister.
