SOUTH AFRICA: ZUMA'S WIFE ON SUCCESSION OF ANC


In december 16th the ANC will undergo another election to elect a new leader who will be the representative of of general election of 2019.So far two nominees are in race which both of them seems to hold a massive convincing  powers among their members,these are Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma(ex-zuma wife) and Mr Ramaphosa. According to political analyst it shows that ANC has entered another penultimate stage these two people have high political influence over the other

 Local election showed that,the ex-wife of President Jacob Zuma was nominated by 250 local ANC brancheswhile her rival Cyril Ramaphosa preferred by 69.Despite of this Cyril Ramaphosa has support from  the Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) and the South African Communist Party (SACP).
The Tripartite Alliance was forged in 1990 after the movements opposed to white minority rule by the apartheid government. The ANC holds a majority in parliament, while the two partners have not contested any democratic election in South Africa.
Cosatu and SACP have made it clear they are settling for nothing short of a Ramaphosa victory on December 16.
 On the other hand Dr.Dlamin has firm support from the Youth League, Women’s League and the Veterans’ League. Let us stay tuned on December 16 for final results that will predict  the ANC  position in 2019 election.
