NIGERIA: Suicide Attack in Biu
Two female suicide bombers infiltrated and gained entry into Biu town in Biu LGA northern part of Nigeria.
One
of the bombers detonated IED strapped on her body within Biu Main
market, while the other one detonated outside d market square.
It is reported that a total of 17 persons excluding the two suicide bombers, have been confirmed killed in the two explosions.53 get injured,the Corpses and the injured persons have been evacuated to General Hospital Biu. Meanwhile, normalcy has been restored and the area rendered safe.
Nigeria's military has stepped up its operations against the group, but counter attacks are also on the rise in the northeast.
