TANZANIA: AZAM TV TO BROADCAST CECAFA TOURNAMENT.

Tanzania based pay digital TV has  won the rights to broadcast CECAFA flagship tournement for three years, begin with senior challenge which has to start December 3-17 in Kenya this year.Speaking CECAFA secretary general Nicholas Musonye said that Azam TV will broadcast all the challenge tournaments for men and women as well as Kagame Cup which involve regional clubs.Apart from that Musonye added by saying that Azam Tv will also broadcast regional under 17 tournament that will kick off in Burundi by next year.
 The tournament will feature 10 teams, eight from the Cecafa region and two guest teams, Libya and Zimbabwe.Host Nation Kenya has been pooled in Group A alongside Rwanda, Libya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar. Defending Champions Uganda will be up against Zimbabwe, Burundi, Ethiopia and Southern Sudan in Group B.
